Vaping Etiquette: The Do’s & Dont’s Of Vaping Around Others

So you’ve just started vaping and are wondering about vaping etiquette, especially when you are vaping around others. Here’s some do’s and dont’s about vaping around other people!
Do
- Check The Rules
- always follow posted signs and local laws
- treat indoor spaces such as restaurants, malls, transit hubs, etc as a no-vape zone
- Ask Permission
- if you are wanting to vape around someone else, or are in someone else’s car or home, always ask permission before doing so
- Mind Your Clouds
- to avoid possibly upsetting others, it is always recommended to exhale downward or away from people
Don’t
- Use Your Vape Around Children & Pets
- children and animals have smaller and more fragile lungs than adults
- always keep a wide distance away from children and pets if you must use your vape
- never directly vape around children and animals
- Use Your Vape In Tight Spaces
- never vape in elevators, crowded lines or spaces, narrow hallways or close to building entrances/ exits
- Litter
- never litter used disposable vapes, empty pods or packaging
- always dispose of vaping items properly and responsibly
